In August 2009, we presented the Chicago premiere of HIGH FIDELITY, with a fourteen person cast, including seven Equity contracts--our biggest undertaking to date. After 17 years, we transformed the Tony N Tina's Wedding space at Pipers Alley into a concert venue and made national headlines. The show ran for nine weeks, was "Jeff Recommended", and sold out performances. NPR "Dueling Critics" called it a "Must See" production and it was "Highly Recommended" in the Chicago Sun-Times. But most importantly, our audiences had a rockin' good time--proving that a musical is something Route 66 should commit to every season.
